Julia George Hair & Beauty Salon we provide AROMATHERAPY as
a form of complementary healthcare. The essential oils for
aromatherapy are taken from aromatic plants to enhance health and
beauty.  Apart from the physical benefits, essential oils can also have a
subtle effect on both your mind and emotions. Aromatherapy massages can be used for various effects, soothing, relaxing and are blended to suit the individual. Your Beautician will discuss your requirements with you prior to beginning your treatment. INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE This treatment is an extremely relaxing form of massage for relieving stress and tension in your back and top shoulder area. Our Beauticians are fully qualified in Indian Head Massage and will tailor your massage to your particular requirements. Aromatherapy oils are also used in the treatment but this massage is very good for pregnant women as it can be with or without the oils. (Some treatments may not be suitable when pregnant and so please check with the Beautician beforehand) |

Beauticians are trained in both general massage techniques and
practices and also specialise in Swedish massage. Swedish body massage is the original massage technique involving a sequence of movements working superficially and deeper into the tissue layers. As no two people are alike, the body massage sequence will be adapted to your needs. During massage treatments (and all treatments we offer) our Beauticians will respect your modesty at all times. Clean, soft towels are used to cover your body, which are turned back to reveal only the area to be massaged at that time. Areas massaged in a full body massage are normally, legs, arms front of shoulders, abdomen (optional) back of legs or thigh and back. Enjoy indulging yourself and we promise you will leave the salon feeling cleansed, invigorated and totally relaxed. Our Beauticians are happy to discuss your requirements and the different massage treatments that are available to ensure that you feel comfortable and happy that the treatment you choose is right for you. STONES MASSAGEHot stone massage is a speciality massage that uses smooth, heated stones. They are often basalt, a black volcanic rock that absorbs and retains heat well. It is a deeply soothing, relaxing form of massage. The heat helps tight muscles release, opening energy centres in the mind and body to help balance and calm. We also have shower facilities at the salon for which we provide towels (available for you to use for any of our treatments). We aim to make your time with us enjoyable, relaxing and totally pleasurable. If you are considering a massage treatment for a GIFT VOUCHER, then our Beauticians will try to assist you on which treatment may be suitable for the person receiving the voucher. It is also no problem to change any vouchers purchased for a particular treatment to a different one of their choosing if they prefer something else from our range of treatments available! |
